You cannot prepare ahead of time for the crises that will come into your life, but you can prepare your heart in the moment to be a person of praise. And in doing that you are prepared for whatever the future holds.

I have this phrase written in the front of my Bible! Very helpful!
Rabbi, it was so nice of you to call and check on me last week. I had to return to this bullet of praise this week after our phone conversation. Thank you it meant so much to me. I began to walk with the Lord almost 40 years ago because you taught us that "while we were yet sinners Christ died for us". I will praise Him in this trial also bc of your example to me. As an OLD dear friend of mine use to say "STAY IN THE BATTLE"
